Moapa Valley is located in Clark County, NV, approximately 65 miles northeast of Las Vegas, and 75 miles southwest of St. George, UT. Moapa Valley includes the towns of Overton, Logandale and Moapa.
Why Visit Moapa Valley?
Moapa Valley offers some of the best recreation and attractions in Southern Nevada. Moapa Valley is home to the Valley of Fire State Park, Logandale Trails, and Lake Mead, as well as many other nearby recreational areas.Whether you are a visitor or resident of Moapa Valley, you can enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing, museums, wildlife, and OHV Trails.

For Residents of Moapa Valley, a better question would be “Why live anywhere else?” Moapa Valley residents enjoy living in a small, rural area within a great community of supportive people. The views from everywhere in the valley are spectacular, the night sky is amazingly clear, and the services available in the area are great. While Moapa Valley doesn’t have any large chain stores or malls, it does have a great mix of shopping, dining and service businesses. And for those bigger purchases, Mesquite, Las Vegas and St. George are within easy driving distances. Moapa Valley, as we all know, is home to special people — our community, our friends and our neighbors. Our local telecommunications provider, MVT, has put together a video series called “Meet Moapa Valley,” in which they are telling the stories of some of the wonderful people who live here.
What is the Moapa Valley Chamber?
The Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce does LOTS of things! Our Mission Statement is: “The Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce promotes visitors and relocation to our area, which benefits all of us in the valley”, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. The Chamber of Commerce provides support to local organizations, events and businesses through this website and through various committees and projects.
